Val d'Isere boasts some very good ski schools, who cater for all skiers/boarders abilities regardless of whether it's your first time skiing or you require a guide to help explore the Espace Killy area. A wide range of programmes are available: carving, free-ride, safari skiing, heliskiing, cross country or even snowshoe trekking.
We have selected our favourite ski schools below which offer a wide variety of services from beginner group lessons to private ski clinics. Most ski schools will be happy to access you and decide what level of skiier or rider you are.
Group lessons are more sociable and normally work out cheaper, however not as intense as a one-to-one tuition - it may be better investing in a few private lessons early on. The instructors will ensure that your learning experience is an enjoyable one, whether you are in a group or on your own.
If you require a Val d'Isere ski school whether it be group or individual private lessons it is advisable that you pre-book not only for peak dates of the season to secure your place.

From our years of experience we appreciate that for you to enjoy your holiday, good childcare must be guaranteed – therefore their teams priority is to create a safe environment – where the children have lots of fun, and are happy to spend time with there. They understand that parents want a flexible service to fit around their skiing plans, so they will create a package to meet your childcare requirements. If you are a beginner skier or boarder it is worth waiting until you get to Morzine and have organised some lessons and equipment as not only can you sometimes get good combo deals it's likely you will spend at least your first day on the free learners lifts, so saving you the cost for a days pass.
